of the Ninth FRAUCHI International Competition<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Ninth Alexander Frauchi International Guitar Competition (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cCompetition\u201d) will be held in Moscow from November 2 through November 8, 2025. <\/strong><\/p>

First Round will be held online in virtual format from August 11 through August 27, 2025. <\/strong><\/p>

The founding parties: Alexander Frauchi Regional Public Foundation for Guitar Arts (hereinafter \u2013 \u201cOrganizer\u201d), Gnessins\u2019 Russian Academy of Music.<\/p>

  1. APPLICATION PROCEDURES<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    1.1. The Competition is open for professional guitar players, students of guitar classes of higher educational institutions, regardless of nationality, with no age limitation.<\/p>

    1.2. Application must be submitted online through the official website of the Competition alexanderfrauchi.com<\/strong> by 23:59 Moscow Standard Time (UTC+3) on August 5, 2025.<\/p>

    1.3. No entries submitted after August 5, 2025 will be considered.<\/p>

    1.4. The application is regarded as accepted one only in case the applicant receives a confirmation on the e-mail address specified in the application.<\/p>

    1.5. An application signed by applicant is an indication of the future participant\u2019s full acceptance of the conditions set hereby and his\/her obligation to observe them.<\/p>

    1. COMPETITION PROCEDURES<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

      2.1. The Competition contests comprise three rounds:<\/p>

      FIRST ROUND<\/u><\/strong> (in virtual format, via video recordings)<\/strong><\/p>

      17 minutes maximum total performance time<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

      1. a) Any piece by J. S. Bach
        b) A free choice program<\/li><\/ol>

        2.1.1. Links to the video recording of the First Round will be accepted only by 23:59 Moscow Standard Time on August 8.<\/p>

        2.1.2. No videos received after the specified time will be considered, and no entry fee refund will be made.<\/p>

        2.1.3. First Round videos may be posted on the Competition\u2019s website, official Competition\u2019s YouTube channel, on other video hosting services and on official Competition\u2019s Partners\u2019 channels. The terms and procedure of publication will be determined by the Organizer.<\/p>

        2.1.4. The results of the First Round will be posted on the official website of the Competition on August 27, 2025.<\/p>

        2.2. Video recording requirements:<\/strong><\/p>

        2.2.1. While recording the video for the First Found, the participant is obliged to have the logo of the Ninth Alexander Frauchi International Competition, in printed form or a tablet with the logo clearly visible on the screen. The logo will be sent to each applicant upon the application confirmation.<\/p>

        2.2.2. The participant\u2019s both hands and face must be clearly visible on the recording, the upper body should occupy approximately 75 % of the frame. The recording shall be accompanied by a proper light, there should be no intrusive noise and other loud sounds distracting from listening to the participant.<\/p>

        2.2.3. The program should be performed without stopping the camera between the pieces (joining separate video files or editing video is not allowed). The participant must be in the same position in front of the camera for the entire period of recording. The frame position should be horizontal (landscape).<\/p>

        2.2.4. The competition video performance should be recorded without any sound processing whatsoever (no artificial reverberation effects is allowed) or video processing (video editing, frames joining, titles). No edited video recordings will be accepted for the Competition.<\/p>

        2.2.5. The performance program, the order of the pieces, as well as the duration of the performance on the video recording must comply with the Competition\u2019s conditions.<\/p>

        2.2.6 The video recording should be uploaded to one of the cloud storages (Google Drive, Dropbox, Mail.ru Cloud, Yandex Disk) and the link has to be provided to the Organizing Committee.<\/p>
